My best friend and I almost share a birthday (4 days apart). So, when our guys asked what we wanted and handed over the credit cards, we hopped on Amazon and ordered our own 5050’s . Their fault. We’ve never been able to share shoes since she’s a solid size 6 and I range anywhere between an 8.5 and 10, depending on style. In this case, we both need boots for narrow calves and we love SW, so it was a no brainer.
These Boots Are Made For Walking
They took a few weeks to receive, but as soon as I opened my box, the phone rang. I knew who it was immediately. I swear, you could have heard us screaming in the next county. She chose the Black Nappa leather, while I went a bit off track and decided to try the Bordeaux Suede. Let me just say, they were gorgeous right out of the packaging. The suede is so soft and doesn’t scuff like the leather. Typically, she’s the one who gets attention when we go out. But the first time we went out together in our matching boots, I paired these with a cocoa brown dress and all eyes were on me.
Tall Boots for Narrow Calves
But don’t get me wrong…the black leather is pretty, too. They do run small for the lower sizes, so she had to break hers in for a few days. I’ve read that the larger sizes can run up to a half size big, but the 8.5 worked well for me, especially for my 14 inch calves. They are pricey, but it’s worth splurging for footwear that will last you years.
